September Competition - a three bird Roast



It's time for the September competition especially for our Facebook followers. I've waited a little while because of the prize.


As artisan butchers we are always sourcing the best possible produce for you, some of that is seasonal, the shooting season starts on the 1st October which means a fresh supply of pheasants and partridges!!


The prize for the September competition is one of great seasonal specialities - a three bird roast and a bottle of red wine.


A three bird roast is a partridge inside a pheasant inside a chicken along with our sausage meat stuffing. To achieve this the birds have to be boneless so it carves beautifully, as such requires a lot of preparation from our team of butchers.
